Prudent Practices for Handling Hazardous Chemicals in the Laboratory, NRC, National Academy Press.
This is a "must" have! Handles a wide variety of specifics that are encountered daily in the chemical laboratory. Many detailed examples. Alas, it makes for dry reading, given its "government" style of writing.
Safe Storage of Laboratory Chemicals, Pipitone, Wiley-Interscience, 1984.
One of my favorites! Not only discusses the "how to" store the chemicals safely but the history as to why you should. Easy to read. Reaction sequences give the chemistry behind why you should avoid the alternative storing schemes.
